Our Story

A Dutch tradition, made with heart in the Stellenbosch Winelands

Heavenly Dutch Stroopwafels was born from a love of the classic Dutch stroopwafel — two thin, chewy waffle layers pressed around a ribbon of gooey caramel syrup. Every stroopwafel we make follows that same time-honoured method: hand-pressed waffles, a warm caramel filling, and no shortcuts.

We are Daniel and Tracy, based in the Stellenbosch Winelands near Cape Town, where we produce every batch by hand in small quantities — so what reaches you is always fresh, never mass-produced. Whether it's a treat for yourself, a gift, a wedding or corporate favour, or a market stall order, each stroopwafel is made to order with care.
